The Las Vegas Raiders have only one player left from their 2019 NFL Draft class: All-Pro edge rusher Maxx Crosby.

The club announced its release of wide receiver Hunter Renfrow on Wednesday, officially marking the end of the era after running back Josh Jacobs left in free agency.

"Honestly, it's bittersweet," Crosby said, via the Raiders Podcast Network. "You can say it's tough, and it's easy, or whatever your opinion is, but it's a little bit different when you come in together. Guys like Josh, guys like Hunter, Cle[lin] Ferrell, those dudes, I mean, we went through it all together.

"We were kids when we came into the league, and we grew up and became men in the same building and went through a lot of similar struggles and were always there for each other. So, seeing all those guys go, it is tough at times, but at the end of the day, it's a business. Football is not easy, there's new people in and out the locker room every single day, and that's just the nature of the business.

"I think I'm one of the last Oakland Raiders on the team, now. I think it's me, Kolton [Miller], and Andre [James]; there's like three of us left, and AJ [Cole]. So yeah, it's like the number has gotten a lot smaller, but at the end of the day, it's a part of the business, unfortunately, and it's just the reality of what comes with this job.

"And it's incredible that I've been able to be here for as long as I am, and I, obviously, plan on being here for much longer."

Crosby was one of nine players from the Raiders' 2019 draft class, which produced three Pro Bowlers -- Crosby, Jacobs, and Renfrow.

"Josh Jacobs -- I mean, that dude is a warrior," Crosby said. "And that dude is -- I've seen him play through numerous injuries and miss a whole week of practice banged up and go out there versus Seattle and get 300 total yards in a game. Like, people don't even see the things that that guy had to go through off the field.

"And a guy like Hunter Renfrow, the things he had to deal with; not just injuries and things, but everything that comes with it. So, there's a lot of things that come with this business, and those dudes are like my brothers, and I wish them nothing but the best, and regardless of where we're at, we're still going to be locked in for life. So, yeah, those dudes are -- we're going to be family forever."

The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently have the No. 13 overall pick.
