Raiders Under Contract: RB Sincere McCormick
Sincere McCormick is a member of the Las Vegas Raiders' deep running back room who is still waiting on his first real chance to shine in the NFL.
McCormick was signed by the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Texas-San Antonio in 2022 before spending the entire season on the Injured Reserve list.
Then McCormick would make the most of his 2023 preseason, rushing for 57 yards and a touchdown while also recording a receiving touchdown. He posted those two touchdowns in his 27-yard rushing performance against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1 of the preseason.
Even so, McCormick only was signed to the practice squad for the 2023 season and never appeared in a regular season game.
The Raiders would sign McCormick to a reserve/future contract last month and his one-year deal is worth $795,000.

McCormick had a stellar college career in three seasons Texas-Arlington. He led Conference USA in total rushing yards with 1,479 on 298 carries as a senior and totaled 15 rushing touchdowns.
For that, McCormick was named the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year and was an all-conference First Team honoree. He also was named to the Football Writers Association of America and Phil Steele All-American Second Teams, as well as the Associated Press All-American Third Team. McCormick was named a Doak Walker Award semifinalist for 2020 and 2021 seasons.
In that 2020 campaign, McCormick rushed for 1,467 yards, the second-best mark in the FBS. He was honored as the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year and an all-conference First Team selection.
From February 27 to March 4, 2024, the NFL Scouting Combine will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.
The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick.
