In this story:

Seven-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Tyreek Hill was a thorn in the Las Vegas Raiders' side for many years when they would square off with their biggest rival, the Kansas City Chiefs.

After six seasons of having to contain the elite wideout, the Raiders caught a break when Hill signed with the Miami Dolphins in the 2022 offseason (though another sweep of the season series in favor of Kansas City last year would suggest not much of a difference was made).

The Raiders didn't have to worry about Hill for an entire season for the first time since 2015.

But the longtime opponents are set to share the same field again this season when Las Vegas heads to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami for a showdown with the Dolphins in Week 11.

For the Raiders, Hill will present a task they could never quite figure out, at least in recent years.

The last season the two parties met, 2021-22, Hill posted 83 receiving yards and two touchdowns in Game 1, and a 76-yard receiving game in the second meeting.

The season before, the veteran wideout turned in a 78-yard performance on only three receptions, followed by a 102-yard receiving display in the next game. His 11 receptions in that game were his second-best of the campaign.

The Raiders were fortunate not to face Hill in their first meeting of the 2019-20 season and even held him to 55 yards in the second.

Hill did, however, hand them a 101-yard, one-touchdown receiving showing in Week 17 the season before (2018-19). He added 15 yards and a touchdown on the ground as well.

In only his second season (2017-18), Hill exploded for a 125-receiving-yard, one-touchdown performance against the Raiders in Week 7, followed by a 75-yard game in Week 14.

It's safe to say Hill has the Raiders' number, and with the way he dominated as a first-year member of the Dolphins, he doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon.

The Week 11 game between Las Vegas and Miami is scheduled for Nov. 19.
