The Las Vegas Raiders have already turned the page to the 2024 season, and many questions surround this ICONIC franchise.

We will answer some of the questions and emails from Raider Nation as we look ahead to this monster game.

Hi Hondo, were you shocked Mark Davis chose Tom Telesco as GM? --Maryann M.

Shocked? No. Surprised? Yes, but I am learning that you expect the unexpected regarding the Raider organization. There were a lot of people surprised in the building. Someone in the loop told me that Champ Kelly had it Saturday morning before Telesco was named. But things move on, and Tom is a good man.

Hondo, you thought the Raiders would stay at 13 for the NFL Draft before Tom Telesco was hired. Does Telesco change your opinion on the Draft? --Scott S.

Not as of now, but I reserve the right to change my opinion. I am still gathering much information, so nothing I have learned changes my opinion…now.

Hondo, I was stunned to see a man such as I view you be some complimentary of Stephen A. Smith. Please explain yourself. --Brent C.

I don’t owe you any explanation, but I will give it because I have had a few ask. I would not call Stephen A. Smith a friend, but we have met and talked multiple times as we share a close mutual friend in Rob Parker, a media member. I have not always agreed with everything Smith says, but he is genuine, open-minded and a great listener. Nothing he says is hyperbole. His hot takes are sincere, and even when I don’t get them, I respect that he doesn’t pander to people or opinions. I respect him, and I like him. We live in a season where people act like, if I don’t agree with everything you say, I hate you. That is stupid. I don’t always agree with something I say moments after. I like genuine people, and Stephen A. is genuine. I do not apologize; I like him and have found him to be sincere, warm, and kind in every dealing I have ever had with him.

Hondo, after all the staff is settled, do you plan on telling us about each coach? What you have heard about them? --Mylen R.

I will have articles and podcasts about the staff once it is settled.

Hondo, do you have a favorite Raider of all time? --Keith T.

Matt Millen is a dear friend, so he is it for sure, but my father loved Jim Otto, and I have gotten to know him and adore the man. So, either one for sure.

Hondo, you have addressed the Raiders entering their money season, and it has been exceptional. The respect you have shown Dylan Parham really opened my eyes. Why do you think he gets overlooked? --Nancy S.

Interior linemen are not necessarily the bell of the ball, but Parham is an absolute star.

I received some emails that weren't hate but not questions, and I wanted to share them with you.

Hondo, I know you always publish the hate, but I wish you would publish some of the respect. I want to thank you. I love my wife, but I didn't have a dad, and I am not what you would call a loving person. I love my family, but I am not loving. I love how you brag about your wife. About a month ago, I came home and told my wife and kids how much I loved them and how grateful I am that God gave them to me. I told them I hoped they knew it, but I wanted to ensure. My wife, son and daughters cried, and they, in turn, told me how much they loved me. I would have never thought about that, but seeing you made me want to. I love your coverage of my Raiders, but more importantly, I love how transparent you are and helping some of us understand how to do some things. I tell them daily, and my wife listens to your podcast with me. I don't hate you, and I have no idea how anyone could. But I am thankful, and I am not a religious person, but I think God gave us you, too. --Mike D. in Los Angeles P.S. I have the best kids and the best wife in the world. I looked up that Bible verse you always use when talking about your wife on Google, which is true. Chapter 18 and verse 22 of the Proverbs Bible book.

Hey Mike, there you go, buddy. Loving your family is an investment that ALWAYS pays dividends. I am glad you think your wife and kids are the best; that is how it should be. I am sending you a present; I am certain it will change you like it has me and millions of others.

The only reason I watch you is for the chance I can see a picture of your wife. I hope you keep promoting her, perhaps she will realize how much better than you she can do, and with her being a Raiders fan she can marry a real man and we can watch you fall apart publicly for losing her. --You suck. The only thing I hate more than Antonio Pierce being the coach is you. Mark Davis bent to all the pressure you put on him, and he didn't even interview Jim Harbaugh. APs certain failure is on your fat ass and I hope you simply die. Just die, fools like you and a fool like Davis listening to you is why we suck. --Chris R.

From February 27 to March 4, 2024, the NFL Scouting Combine will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.

The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick.
