The Las Vegas Raiders (1-2) are headed to play the Los Angeles Chargers (1-2) this weekend at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., and there is a lot more on the line, than simply a win or loss to their AFC West rival.

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams spoke today about his comments last Sunday after the loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

"For the for the people who I needed to reach, yeah." Adams said. "The rest of the people, it's no surprise, it's no secret that I truly don't care what people think, as long as the people who it's intended for understand the message, that's what's most important to me. For the people who didn't understand the message, it was not a shot or directed at anybody in the front office here. That was about us as a football team, and the players who go out there and control things and have the most control of what happens and the outcome of games.

"I think it's really cowardly and small thing to take shots at coaches when we do have a lot to do, the most to do, with what happens ultimately out there on the field. So, a I'm pretty direct dude, as you know, so if it was that, I mean I wouldn't personally decide to go to the media about it. I would take care of it the way that a man is supposed to. I'm just big on taking care of my part of it, and I take a tremendous amount of pride in what I do and what I put into this game and my portion of it. I'd like to think that it reflects in the outcome and the product that you see on the field. So, I just try to keep it to that and then let the rest of the stuff handle itself."

The Silver and Black return to the road this week in Inglewood, Calif., to play the Los Angeles Chargers (1-2) on Sunday, Oct. 1, at 4:05 p.m. EDT/1:05 p.m. PDT.
