Rams Pick Alabama Cornerback Terrion Arnold In Latest NFL Mock Draft

The Los Angeles Rams could get some help with their passing defense with the 19th pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

The Los Angeles Rams have not made a first-round pick since they traded up in 2016 to select Jared Goff, but this could be the year that all changes.

In a recent mock draft by LA Football Network, they predict the Rams to get some help in the secondary and draft Alabama cornerback Terrion Arnold with the No. 19 pick in the draft.

Arnold was very productive this past season at Alabama, as he tallied up 63 total tackles, an impressive number for an outside corner. He also got five interceptions and forced one fumble.

He has solid size at the corner position, standing six feet tall, and did solid at the combine. While his 40-yard dash wasn't the most impressive at a 4.5, that is somewhat close to the 4.41 that former Ram Jalen Ramsey ran back in 2016.

But even with his mediocre 40 time, he ranked first out of all corners in the Combine in production score with a grade of 90. He also ranked third overall in the cornerback group with an overall score of 85.

If the Rans were to draft a young corner like Arnold, he could develop into the number one corner in a very short time, as he would get a lot of playing time immediately. he would also get the chance to grow alongside the rest of the young defensive core of the Rams.
