Former Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will not face charges as the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office has decided not to pursue the case. Beckham Jr. had been accused of assaulting a woman at a club in West Hollywood last month.

According to a report by TMZ Sports on April 21, an investigation was launched into Beckham Jr. after a woman claimed that he had put his hand around her neck at Delilah, a club located on Santa Monica Boulevard. Beckham Jr. has consistently denied the allegation.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Detective Juan Bonilla, the lead investigator, stated that there was no evidence to support the allegation of assault, describing the allegations as "unfounded."

Christopher Baker, assistant head deputy for the Charge Evaluation Division of the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, noted in a charge evaluation worksheet that surveillance video contradicted the complainant's version of events and that no other witnesses corroborated her account.

Baker concluded there was insufficient evidence to establish a case beyond a reasonable doubt.

The 30-year-old Beckham played his last season with the Rams in 2021, where he had a crucial role in their Super Bowl victory. Unfortunately, Beckham Jr. suffered an ACL tear during Super Bowl LVI, which led to him sitting out the entire 2022 season as he remained unsigned by any team.

During the current offseason, Beckham Jr. signed a one-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens.
