Odds Dak Prescott Plays for Steelers Aren't That Low

It's a little surprising how likely some books think Dak Prescott dressing in a Steelers uniform is.

Ben Roethlisberger is the Steelers' quarterback in 2020, right? As of now, all signs say Big Ben is behind center, but what about moving forward?

The tensions between the Dallas Cowboys and Dak Prescott have heated up throughout the offseason, ultimately ending with the quarterback having to play under the franchise tag in 2020.

Therefore, there's no clear answer to whether or not Prescott will stay in Dallas moving forward. If he decides to leave, he'll hit the free agent market as one of the hottest names to bid on, and the Steelers might be a team to pull the trigger.

According to BetOnline.ag, the Steelers have 10/1 odds that Prescott plays for them in 2021. Tied with the Las Vegas Raiders and Washington, there are only six teams ahead of Pittsburgh in betting odds to sign the quarterback.

The Indianapolis Colts sit at the top of the list with 6/1 odds, followed by the Chicago Bears (7/1), and the Los Angeles Chargers and Minnesota Vikings with 8/1 odds.

The Dallas Cowboys were not listed in the top teams to potentially land Prescott, which might be saying something about the future between the quarterback and the team.

The Steelers are set to take a near $41 million cap hit with Roethlisberger under contract next season. He'll enter the 2020 season at 38-years-old, coming off reconstructive surgery in his throwing elbow. Both unclear signs for the future.
