Opponent Fantasy Report: Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens head to Heinz Field with a powerful offense and plenty of fantasy value.

Quarterback

Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson isn't even a question. Even in games when the Ravens' offense struggles, Jackson gives your fantasy team 20 points. His athleticism gives him too many ways to boost his stat line, leaving him a no question QB1.

Running Back

Mark Ingram

Mark Ingram has proven the Ravens more than right for taking a chance on him. The ninth-year back looks younger than ever, and his fantasy value is booming because of it.

It's hard to ignore the two 7 point weeks, but the Ravens have shown they don't play well when they try to build the tempo through the pass. Ingram should be the pace-setter from here on out, and Baltimore will realize that.

If he can stay healthy, he'll continue to be one of the league's top running backs. He's a RB1 in Week 5.

Wide Receiver

Willie Snead

There's always potential for Willie Snead to have a big game, but it depends on how the Ravens are conducting their offense. If they air it out, Snead benefits well. If they go through Mark Ingram, none of the wide receivers have a good day.

Snead is coming off a game where Baltimore needed to throw the ball a lot. That could be the same case in Pittsburgh if the Steelers play as well as they did against the Bengals. That's a risk you'll have to take, and frankly, not a promising one.

Marquise Brown

After starting strong, Marquise Brown has faded to a big-play fantasy player. If Lamar Jackson finds him deep a few times, he'll win you a game. But the most likely scenario is him being overthrown once or twice and finishing with one or two catches for 50, 60 yards.

For right now, Brown has worked himself out of the starting role on your fantasy team. That can change if Jackson can get more reliable on the deep ball. Or, if the Ravens continue to play from behind and need to start airing it out more.

Miles Boykins

Miles Boykins has shown little-to-no fantasy value this season. His 32 yards and a touchdown against the Browns made him worth something, but chances are you didn't have him in your lineup.

The Steelers defense has played well in the secondary the last two weeks. That shouldn't change as Minkah Fitzpatrick gets more comfortable. Boykins isn't someone to take a risk with in Week 5.

Tight End

Mark Andrews

Until proven otherwise, Mark Andrews is a tight end to keep in your starting lineup. His poor week against Kansas City doesn't do him justice, but with the lack of productive tight ends in the league, he's good enough.

Devin Bush played well against Tyler Eifert last week, but if Eifert didn't drop a touchdown pass early, it'd be a different story fantasy wise. Mark Barron has struggled in coverage up until his late-game interception against the Bengals. It's too big of a weak spot to not keep Andrews in.

D/ST

Ravens

The Ravens defense will have their hands full trying to cover a normal offense, on top of the wildcat. This could go one of two ways; they'll either shut down the Steelers' short-game offense, or they'll struggle to deal with the misdirection plays.

Jaylen Samuels said on Friday that the team practiced the wildcat throughout the week, and he feels it'll be something to help the offense. Baltimore can expect to see some trickery on Sunday, and if they can stop it, they'll stahl Pittsburgh.

The Steelers still have questions to answer offensively. So, if you're trying to decide on the Ravens' defense; start them.
