The Pittsburgh Steelers took a shot on a young wide receiver out of Oklahoma State, and despite a poor rookie season, his career is far from over.

Dropping more than half of your targets isn't going to make you a Pro Bowler. A player who has some of the strongest hands in the NFL seemed to lose his momentum before it even started. But with 16 games under his belt, James Washington still has a lot of potential.

He’s started his offseason by showing up to OTAs 15 pound lighter. For a deep threat, dropping a few extra pounds can help his speed down the sidelines.

It’s no where near too late. It’s only year two for James Washington, there’s still plenty of time left to become a star.
