Titans Veterans, Free Agents, Rookies Working To Gel As A Team

In this story:
NASHVILLE - National Football League team executives have the unenviable task of building their rosters each season, and one of the biggest challenges is to melt the different personalities along with the individual talents into a team instead of a group of individuals.
The process includes adding veteran free agents from other teams to their existing roster and integrating the youth of a rookie class.
This can provide some interesting dynamics as those veterans and their new rookie teammates come with different life experiences and backgrounds, yet they must grow as one in short order.
Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel and his staff have spent the last four weeks building their roster into the most cohesive group possible before the season begins.
That job is further complicated by the changes in the coaching staff and the changes in the offensive philosophy, terminology, and the need for everyone, veteran and rookie alike, to learn their playbook and be on the same page as quickly as possible.
On Wednesday, Vrabel shared his thoughts on where his team is regarding those free agents and how they have worked to help this group become a team.
"They are great, and that's what you try to target in free agency," said Vrabel. "It's tough to not know some of these guys and have some personal knowledge, or experience, or relationship with them."
"I feel great about it that everybody that's coming in worked and has been a part of the team, and let their personality shine and, Azeex (Al-Sahaair) leading and Arden (Key) with his energy and," continued Vrabel. "All those guys are coming in, and that's how you form a team. You've got to be careful when you do that when you bring a bunch of guys in. Are they going to be the right fits."
To this point, and from the outside looking in, it seems that this group is enjoying being together on the field, and the veterans and rookies are developing a relationship.
What remains to be seen is how this continues to develop and translate onto the football field when it counts.
