NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Titans have been on the practicing for four weeks of organized team activities at this point and according to a video released by the Titans, it appears Kristian Fulton is making his first appearance on the field after skipping the first week and not being spotted on the practice field since he arrived.

The Titans' video shows four players making their entry to the practice field, the fourth video is Fulton who is wearing cleats and holding his gloves. Fulton looks like a man ready to hit the field. Wednesday's session is open to the media and the team typically releases videos on the same days the media is in attendance. Odds are Fulton hit the field earlier this week in a session, but this is our first hint at his return.

This is a huge year for Kristian Fulton. Fulton enters his fourth season and is set to hit free agency when it ends. Fulton has had moments of great play, but he has not been able to stay healthy. Fulton has missed 20 of a possible 50 games in his career so far.

Mike Vrabel even called Fulton out as a "repeat offender" for soft-tissue injuries at the end of the 2022. Vrabel named Fulton and ex-Titan David Long in that comment and the Titans let Long go in free agency this offseason. Fulton could have an "ex" in front of his name soon too.

Whether Fulton stays with the Titans or not, he surely wants to get a lucrative second contract. The only way to do it is to stay healthy and play well. If Fulton wants to play his best, it would probably be wise to build chemistry with your teammates and meet your new coaches.

Fulton is likely headed for a starting spot on this team, but the signing of 25-year old Sean Murphy-Bunting in free agency has to factored in. Roger McCreary started all 17 games for the Titans last year. If Murphy-Bunting, who has been at Titans practice since it began, impresses his coaches, he could be deemed the top corner on the team.

It would then become a battle between Fulton and McCreary. The Titans play a vast majority of their defense in nickel with three corners on the field so all three would get valuable time, but with Fulton via for a new contract, being put on the bench at any time wouldn't help.

Whether it is the Titans or Fulton, both parties should be in favor of getting the best out of Fulton this season. Although it is only, at maximum, a week's worth of practice, any steps you can take to maximize Fulton's season should be taken. The Titans can only do so much, nice to see Fulton take a step of his own.
