NASHVILLE - According to a tweet by Steve Cavendish, editor of the online Nashville Banner news site, Tennessee Titans owner Amy Adams-Strunk, and the NFL have pledged $100,000 to the Covenant Fund.

The fund was started this week after the school shooting at the Covenant School in Nashville. Six people were killed in the attack, including three children, all age 9, the school, director, a longtime janitor, and a substitute teacher.

Various accounts have been set up for those wishing to donate to the funds to help support those directly impacted by this tragic and senseless act of violence this week.

Still today, no words can be said or written to explain or heal the damage this incident has caused to those directly impacted and the community of Nashville, and Middle Tennessee, as we have watched the reports of what occurred on that fateful day.

The Tennessee Titans issued a statement shortly after news of the attack became known.
