NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Titans are beginning the full-team summer practice schedule commonly known as organized team activities(OTAs) today and the Titans' social media team, who has been on a historic tear this offseason it seems, put out some videos of veteran players making their way to the field.

Derrick Henry

A Derrick Henry sighting. It is somewhat of a surprise to see Henry this early in the offseason. The Titans' star back typically isn't a participant in some of the early phases of the offseason program. Not for no reason, Henry is historic for his work ethic and fitness regimen. Constantly stunning the NFL world with outrageous workout videos. Mike Vrabel has said in the past that he knows Henry is putting in the work and will be ready for the season, so a bit of a shock to see Henry present so early.

Chig Okonkwo

Okonkwo is going to be put in a major role for the Titans this year. He was impressive in 2022 as rookie, catching 32 passes for 450 yards and three touchdowns. He led NFL tight ends with three catches of 40 yards or more, showing his explosiveness and knack for big plays. Okonkwo seems incredible confident here and even tries a little scare tactic with the scream. Hopefully he is having fun and scares defense this season.

Jeffery Simmons, Ryan Tannehill & Hassan Haskins

Jeffery Simmons struggled the last half of the 2022 with an ankle injury. If he is participating this early in voluntary workouts, that is a great sign of health. Tannehill has been in the building all offseason trying to set the tone. Haskins has a big year ahead of him to prove he needs a spot on this roster.

Azeez Al-Shaair and Sean Murphy-Bunting

Two new players for the Titans in new-school numbers for their positions. Al-Shaair and Murphy-Bunting signed as free agents in March. They will have a steeper learning curve than some of the returning guys, but as veterans the Titans are hoping both can get where they need to be quickly.

Naquon Jones

Jones will be going into his third season in the NFL and is facing a big moment in his career as he tries to prove he should remain on the Titans' roster. Uncertainty with the contract situation of Teair Tart gives Jones a potential opening for more opportunity.
