Patriots' Team Plane Will Be Used to Transport 1 Million Masks to the United States
According to the Wall Street Journal The New England Patriots' team plane is being used to transport 1.2 million N95 masks from China to the United States. Massachusetts governor Charlie Baker put these plans into motion after contacting Patriots team president Jonathan Kraft for his assistance. In order for all of this to happen, the plane had to cleared for international travel. Patriots owner Robert Kraft had this to say in regards to the matter, "I've never seen so much red tape in so many ways and obstacles that we had to overcome. In today's world, those of us who are fortunate to make a difference have a significant responsibility to do so with all the assets we have available to us." According to the Wall Street Journal, the shipment of the masks is scheduled to arrive in Massachusetts on Thursday.
