New Year's Eve. Sunday Night Football. U.S. Bank Stadium. Vikings vs. Packers.

That should be fun, huh? According to The Athletic's Matt Schneidman, who leaked the Packers' full schedule early on Thursday morning, Green Bay's first visit to Minneapolis in the post-Aaron Rodgers era will be a primetime Week 17 showdown on the last day of 2023.

Now, it's not 100 percent guaranteed that the game will be on SNF, as it could be flexed out if one or both teams aren't having great seasons. But after playing Week 17 games at Lambeau Field in each of the last two seasons, the Vikings won't be mad about getting the Packers at home late in the year. For now, even with Rodgers gone, the Packers have five primetime games and a Thanksgiving game on their schedule.

One week before that, the Vikings will have another huge divisional matchup at U.S. Bank Stadium when they host the Lions on Christmas Eve, reports The Athletic's Alec Lewis. Detroit is the favorite to win the NFC North this year and will actually open up the regular season against the Chiefs on Thursday, September 7th. That Week 16 game in Minneapolis could have big-time divisional stakes.

Speaking of stakes, the Vikings will reportedly also end the regular season against the Lions with a Week 18 trip to Ford Field.

Other Vikings schedule leaks, including some unconfirmed rumors via @SkolBros on Twitter:

  • The first Vikings-Packers matchup will be a Week 8 game at Lambeau Field on October 29th. That'll be a 12 p.m. central time game. The weather could still be nice at that point — or not. Who knows?
  • The Vikings will host the defending champion Chiefs in Week 5 (October 8th).
  • Rumor: Week 1 will be against the Buccaneers at U.S. Bank Stadium.
  • Rumor: Minnesota will travel to Philly to play the Eagles on Thursday Night Football in Week 2. That would be a tough matchup on a short week.
  • Rumor: The Vikings will travel to Vegas to play the Raiders on December 10th (Week 14).
  • Rumor: The Vikings will host the 49ers for Monday Night Football in Week 9 (October 23rd).
  • Rumor: The Vikings will have five total primetime games (three at home) and a Week 13 bye.

The full schedule will be officially released on Thursday night at 7 p.m. central time. Here's how to watch.
