The Vikings are in Philadelphia, where they're hoping to pull off a sizable upset over the Eagles on Thursday Night Football to avoid starting the 2023 season at 0-2.

Kevin O'Connell's team has high hopes this year, but after a disappointing home loss against the Buccaneers in Week 1, they're suddenly looking at the possibility of a rough start to the season. To get in the win column for the first time, they'll need to play well in a place that gave them plenty of trouble this time last year. This is the second consecutive Week 2 featuring a primetime Vikings-Eagles game at Lincoln Financial Field; last season's Monday night matchup ended in a dominant 24-7 Eagles win.

Most national fans and analysts were low on the Vikings coming into this season and understandably feel justified in that opinion after Sunday's loss. This is an opportunity for Minnesota to make a statement to the country with a road win over the defending NFC champs.
