Vikings' Justin Jefferson Breaks Yet Another NFL Record, Catches Crazy TD

In this story:
Justin Jefferson set yet another NFL record in the first half of Sunday's game against the Lions, passing Michael Thomas as the player with the most receiving yards ever in the first four seasons of their career.
Thomas set the mark at 5,512 from 2016-19. Jefferson is at 5,592 and counting as of halftime against Detroit.
Jefferson had the most receiving yards in a player's first two seasons ever, he had the most receiving yards in a player's first three seasons ever, and he would've smashed through this mark a long time ago if he hadn't injured his hamstring against the Chiefs back in Week 5.
Even after missing seven full games and big parts of two others, Jefferson got this one done with multiple games to spare in the regular season.
Later in the first half, Jefferson had a drive that offered a reminder that he's still the best wide receiver on the planet. He had catches of 22, 29, and 26 yards on one single series, the last of the three being a diving touchdown reception in the end zone.

Sitting at 767 yards as of halftime against the Lions, Jefferson still has a shot to get to 1,000 on the season despite missing as much time as he has.
The Vikings trailed the Lions 17-14 at half. Follow along here for live updates.
