Akiem Hicks, Roquan Smith OUT For Bears Against Vikings

This shouldn't come as a huge surprise given his lack of participation in practice this week, but game-changing Bears DT Akiem Hicks is not expected to play against the Vikings.
Bears DT Akiem Hicks, a key part of Chicago’s run defense, is not expected to play today against Dalvin Cook and the Vikings, sources say. Hicks injured his knee in Monday Night’s game and didn’t practice all week.

Hicks is a major loss for the Bears against the NFL's leading rusher, Dalvin Cook. The Bears will also be without fellow DT Bilal Nichols, leaving them short on depth at an important position.
Update: Bears linebacker Roquan Smith (personal) is out as well. Another major loss for Chicago's defense.
Also not expected to play for the Bears is wide receiver Taylor Gabriel, who caught three touchdown passes last week on Monday Night Football.
For the Vikings, Dakota Dozier will start in place of Josh Kline at right guard. Anthony Barr will return after missing a week, and Mackensie Alexander is expected to play his first game since injuring this elbow in Week 1.
We'll let you know if there are any surprises when the official inactive lists are announced.
