How to Watch Vikings vs. Redskins on Thursday Night Football: Time, Channel, Odds, Predictions

It's Thursday, and that means Week 8 is about to get underway.

The Vikings' annual Thursday Night Football appearance has arrived, bringing the primetime spotlight to this team for the first of five times in 2019 (the Vikings play two Sunday night and two Monday night games in the second half).

The Vikings have lost six of their last eight games on Thursday night, most recently falling 38-31 to the Rams last season.

This week, the 1-6 Redskins are in Minneapolis to take on the 5-2 Vikings. Behind the red-hot play of Kirk Cousins, the Vikings have won three games in a row. The Redskins fell to the undefeated 49ers last week in a sloppy, rainy affair, but won their first game of the season against the Dolphins the week prior.

Adam Thielen has been ruled out for the Vikings after injuring his hamstring against the Lions on Sunday.

For the Redskins, Chris Thompson and Vernon Davis remain out. Adrian Peterson, Josh Norman and Montae Nicholson are questionable.

This game is all about reunions. Kirk Cousins faces his former team for the first time, as does former Vikings QB and current Redskins starter Case Keenum. If Peterson plays, which is expected, it may be his last game in Minnesota.
