Despite avoiding the inactive list, Vikings left tackle Christian Darrisaw is not playing against the Eagles on Thursday night. He was reportedly a game-time decision and wound up being held out by the team with his ankle injury. Oli Udoh is in for the Vikings at left tackle instead.

Darrisaw hurt his ankle in the first half of Sunday's season-opening loss against the Buccaneers but was able to return and play the entire second half. However, after going through warmups on Thursday night, the decision was made to hold Darrisaw out and give him ten days to heal before the Vikings host the Chargers in Week 3.

In other injury news, safety Josh Metellus left the game during the first quarter with a shoulder injury and has been announced as questionable to return. With Metellus on the sideline, Theo Jackson — not Lewis Cine — came into the game as the Vikings' third safety alongside Harrison Smith and Camryn Bynum.

Update: Metellus has returned to the game.

Jackson was beaten deep by Devonta Smith for a 54-yard gain on one of his first snaps, but made up for it later in the quarter by recording his first career interception on an ill-advised decision by Jalen Hurts.

Despite losing two fumbles in the first quarter, the Vikings took a 7-3 lead via a T.J. Hockenson touchdown reception in the second quarter. Follow along here for live updates.
