Justin Jefferson is Hyped to Join the 99 Club in Madden

In this story:
Justin Jefferson is in the 99 Club.
The Vikings' superstar wide receiver is rated a 99 in the upcoming Madden '24 video game, EA and the NFL announced on Monday. That's the highest rating in the game. It's a select club that only the elite, top-tier players in the league ever reach. Last year, only four players had 99 ratings.

Jefferson, who is an avid gamer, was pumped to see the news.
Y’all have no idea what it means to be a 99 in Madden!! Since I was 7y/o I been creating my own player making him a 99 and now I don’t have to🤯🤯

Jefferson is the only 99-rated wide receiver in this edition of Madden, with the Dolphins' Tyreek Hill checking in at a 98. Jefferson surpasses Randy Moss (peaked at 98) as the highest-rated Vikings receiver in Madden history.
It’s a well-earned rating for Jefferson, who won Offensive Player of the Year last season by putting up over 1,800 receiving yards. The 2020 first-round pick out of LSU shattered records as a rookie and has still managed to improve his production in both seasons since then.
In 2023, Jefferson will again be the primary weapon for the Vikings as Kevin O’Connell’s offense enters its second season. Is 2,000 yards within reach? We’ll see. If Jefferson even repeats his 2022 production, he’ll almost certainly be a 99 again in Madden ‘25.
Having just turned 24, Jefferson figures to rank among the best WRs in the NFL for a long time. Now the Vikings need to get an extension done to ensure that he’ll be in Minnesota for all of his prime.
