Report: Vikings Have Made "Substantive Inquiry" About Jalen Ramsey

According to ESPN Reporter Josina Anderson, the Vikings are one of a handful of teams that have made a "substantive inquiry" about disgruntled Jaguars star Jalen Ramsey.
I'm told Jalen Ramsey is fine playing TNF tonight, but a source just told me he doesn't anticipate being a member of the #Jags next Sun. Teams like KC, BAL, MIN, OAK, PHI, SEA hv all made substantive inquiries, but my understanding is almost every team has at least placed a call.

Ramsey, a two-time Pro Bowler and 2017 First-Team All-Pro cornerback, requested a trade early this week after a sideline altercation with head coach Doug Marrone during the Jags' Week 2 loss to the Texans. He is widely regarded as one of the best shutdown corners in the league and would benefit each of the 31 other teams if they were able to make a trade for him.
Would GM Rick Spielman actually pull the trigger on a blockbuster like this? It would cost at least one future first-round draft pick, as well as other picks and perhaps a big-name player. Could the Vikings package Trae Waynes and several valuable picks to acquire Ramsey?
Ramsey and Xavier Rhodes would instantly form the best cornerback tandem in the league. Obviously, I'd say this remains a big-time longshot, as other teams like the Chiefs and Seahawks have been rumored to be among the favorites at this point.
Still, it's something to keep an eye on.
#Vikings smart to at least check in on Ramsey, who's due for a new deal, especially given lack of commitment to Trae Waynes or Mackensie Alexander beyond this season.
