Three Vikings players have earned honors from the Pro Football Writers of America, which released their All-NFL, All-NFC, All-AFC, and All-Rookie teams for the 2023 season this week. WR Jordan Addison and LB Ivan Pace Jr. were selected to the All-Rookie team, while Danielle Hunter was named to the All-NFC team at outside linebacker.

Addison and the Rams' Puka Nacua are the two wide receivers on the All-Rookie team. Addison finished third among all rookies in receiving yards this year (behind Nacua and KC's Rashee Rice) and led the rookie receivers with ten touchdown catches. The 23rd overall pick had a great debut season and appears to have a bright future.

Pace making the All-Rookie team is even more impressive because he wasn't drafted. He's one of three linebackers on the team, along with the Lions' Jack Campbell (picked 18th overall) and the Rams' Byron Young (a third-rounder). Pace played over 700 defensive snaps as a rookie and led all first-year off-ball linebackers in most categories, including PFF grade, tackles, pressures, and sacks. He looks like he'll be a difference-maker for the Vikings' defense for a long time.

Hunter and Cowboys star Micah Parsons are the two OLBs on the All-NFC team. Hunter had a career season with 16.5 sacks, 23 total tackles for loss, and four forced fumbles in 2023. He's now an unrestricted free agent.
