Vikings cornerback Akayleb Evans, who was listed as questionable with a hamstring injury, is officially active for Monday night's game against the 49ers. He'll start at cornerback alongside Byron Murphy Jr. against a San Francisco offense that will be without Deebo Samuel but does have leading receiver Brandon Aiyuk.

Left guard Ezra Cleveland (foot) is out, as Kevin O'Connell announced on Saturday. Dalton Risner will start in his place.

Five players are healthy scratches for Minnesota: S Lewis Cine, CB Najee Thompson, TE Nick Muse, OLB Andre Carter II, and OL Hakeem Adeniji. The Vikings elevated Luiji Vilain from the practice squad, so he'll take Carter's place as the No. 4 OLB behind Danielle Hunter, D.J. Wonnum, and Pat Jones II. Marcus Davenport is on injured reserve.

This is the second consecutive week that Cine, the Vikings' first-round pick in 2022, is a healthy inactive. He's buried in the fifth spot on the depth chart at safety. It's a bit surprising to see Thompson inactive; he made the 53-man roster as an undrafted rookie due to his play as a punt gunner in preseason action.

For the 49ers, Samuel and LT Trent Williams are inactive, as anticipated. RB Christian McCaffrey and LB Dre Greenlaw, who were questionable, are active and good to go for this game.

The Vikings did not activate WR Jalen Nailor from IR this week.

Kickoff is at 7:15 p.m. central time on ESPN and ABC.
