Vikings wide receiver K.J. Osborn helped save a man's life by pulling him from a burning car on Sunday night in Austin, TX.

Osborn told ESPN's Adam Schefter that he was riding an Uber home from training when he saw a car that had crashed under a bridge and had flames emitting from its hood. Osborn, along with his Uber driver and a few other bystanders, saved the driver's life. Approaching the flaming car, Osborn was able to drag the man out and pull him away to safety until an ambulance arrived. Osborn told Schefter that the man who crashed was clearly unable to get out of the car on his own. No one else was in the vehicle, and the driver suffered only minor injuries.

"Last night myself and these 3 absolute heroes helped save a man's life by rescuing him from a vehicle up in flames after a bad crash," Osborn wrote on Twitter. "A situation I'd never imagine being a part of in a million years."

Osborn, 25, was selected by the Vikings in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft after playing collegiately at Buffalo and Miami. The Ypsilanti, Michigan native has career totals of 110 catches, 1,305 receiving yards, and 12 touchdowns, all coming in the last two seasons as the Vikings' No. 3 receiver behind Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen. Osborn caught ten passes for 157 yards and a touchdown in the Vikings' 33-point comeback win against the Colts last December — the largest comeback in NFL history.

Osborn spends parts of his offseason training in Austin every year. He is entering the final season of his rookie contract with the Vikings in 2023.
