Jordan Addison missed Vikings OTAs with an injury, but the rookie is back at full health for training camp and already making an impression.

During individual drills, Addison looked like he did at rookie minicamp back in May: Quick, fluid, and impressive. He didn't play a ton with the starting offense during 7-on-7 action — Jalen Nailor is the No. 3 wide receiver for now — but he made a highlight-reel catch in a tight window during a situational period towards the end of practice.

Working against cornerback Joejuan Williams, Addison ran an in-breaking route and made a diving catch on a nice throw from Kirk Cousins.

It's going to be fun to watch the rookie out of USC get more and more reps as training camp unfolds.

Addison apologizes for mistake

Before practice, Addison spoke to reporters for the first time since he was cited for driving 140 miles per hour last week. Kevin O'Connell and Kwesi Adofo-Mensah addressed the incident on Wednesday, saying they've spoken to Addison and made it clear that this can't happen again.

Addison took responsibility for the mistake and apologized.

"I just want to reiterate that I take full responsibility, full ownership of my actions last week," Addison said. "It's never a good thing when KOC or Kwesi gotta address questions about me off the field, so I just want to apologize to everyone for that. I used poor judgement and I made a really poor decision that I'll definitely learn from and I'll make sure that it won't happen again."

Addison declined to comment on any specifics of the situation, citing the nature of an ongoing legal matter.

He also chose not to clarify how he was injured earlier this year, but said he feels 100 percent as camp begins.
