Six MLB Teams Interested in Trade for Rockies Closer Huston Street

Six MLB teams are reportedly interested in a trade for Colorado Rockies closer Huston Street, according to a tweet from SI’s Jon Heyman.

The Toronto Blue Jays, Baltimore Orioles, Miami Marlins, Boston Red Sox, Cincinnati Reds and New York Mets have all expressed interest in the right-hander.

Street's current deal with Colorado lasts through 2012 with an option for 2013, which may be more attractive to teams than a long-term deal that a similar free-agent reliever may demand. Street’s current contract pays the 28-year-old closer $7.5 million in 2012 with a $9 million player option in 2013.
