New Jersey Nets Preparing Trade Offer For Dwight Howard

The New Jersey Nets are reportedly prepared to offer a trade to the Orlando Magic for star center Dwight Howard, ESPN reports.

The trade package reportedly would include Nets center and former first round pick Brook Lopez and two future first-round picks. The Nets are looking to acquire Howard before he becomes a free agent July 2012.

There has been speculation over the past few years that Howard, who has struggled to win a championship in Orlando, may leave the Magic when he becomes a free-agent after this coming season.

“There’s more you can do in a bigger place,” Howard told USA Today.  “I'm stuck in a tough position because I feel like right now, where I'm at, I've done so much. And I just don't know what else I can do.”
