Chicago Bears' running back Matt Forte said Tuesday that he does not know when he will be able to return from a sprained MCL injury, which he suffered Sunday in a game with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Forte was given a platelet rich plasma (PRP) shot, which is designed to expedite the healing process.
"I don't want to give a timetable because I really don't know exactly how long it's going to take, because it varies," Forte told ESPN. "I'm just going to do everything I can. I got the PRP shot. That makes it heal up faster."
