Cubs Hire Chris Bosio At Pitching Coach

Former Milwaukee Brewers coach Chris Bosio will join newly hired Chicago Cubs manager Dale Sveum as the club’s pitching coach, according to

Bosio served as the Brewers advance scout after the 2009 season and coached Milwaukee’s Triple-A team last year.  He also coached the Tampa Bay Rays in 2003.  Bosio also enjoyed an 11-year major league career as a pitcher going 94-93 with 3.96 ERA playing for Milwaukee and the Seattle Mariners. Sveum rounds out his coaching staff with Dave McKay at first base and Jamie Quirk as the bench coach.  Pat Listach will move from the bench to third base and Rudy Jaramillo will remain as the hitting coach through the remainder of his contract.  Lester Strode will continue as the bullpen coach.
