Jeff Green Happy To Be Alive, Looks Forward To Returning To NBA

Jeff Green may not be able to make a title run with the Boston Celtics this season, but he is happy that a routine physical caught a condition that with the proper treatment, will let him play once again.

During his pre-season physical with the Celtics the doctors found an aortic aneurysm. The potentially fatal condition will be corrected with surgery, and Green will attempt to make a comeback next season, according to the Boston Globe.

“I’m very relieved, because I can play basketball again,’’ he told the paper. “It’s a blessing that it was found because you never know what could happen.’’

“When the doctors give me the go,” Green continued. “I’m going to take it to another level.’’
