The exhibition match would be part of a tournament that would also include Chelsea FC and Celtic FC and could also include matches in Chicago and New York, according to the report.

The match would be part of the US Tours for both teams, according to Boston.com. Liverpool Football Club was purchased by Fenway Sports Group, which is headed by Boston Red Sox owner John Henry, in 2010. AS Roma was bought last year by a group that includes Red Sox minority owner Thomas DiBenedetto, according to Boston.com.
