Towson Men's Basketball Ends Record Losing Streak At 41

Sunday January 29th, 2012

It's been a miserable 13 months for the Towson men's basketball team, but the misery ended today. The longest losing streak in the history of Div. I hoops is over at 41, as the Tigers snagged a win today against UNC-Wilmington.

Marcus Damas led the way with 18 points and Deon Jones added 15, and Towson earned a 66-61 win at home. It was the first career win at Towson for coach Pat Skerry, and the program's first since a win at La Salle on Dec. 29, 2010, 395 days ago.
