Report: Yoenis Cespedes could leave states after meeting with Miami

Dominican baseball player Yoenis Cespedes may be leaving the United States after a meeting Wednesday with the Miami Marlins, according to His agent, Adam Katz, told that no further meetings with other clubs have been scheduled.

"We had a good meeting," Katz told about Cespedes' meeting with Miami. "They made a very impressive presentation. Discussions are ongoing and productive. But there are several other teams in the mix."

Cespedes, 26, has narrowed his list of possible teams to the Chicago Cubs, Marlins, Detroit Tigers, Baltimore Orioles, Chicago White Sox, and Cleveland Indians.

Though he has been names a free agent officially by Major League Baseball, Cespedes would still be required to gain approval from the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control.

In 2010-11 in Cuba, Cespedes hit .333 with 33 home runs and 99 RBIs.
