The New York Yankees have agreed to a one-year deal with former All-Star outfielder Raul Ibanez, sources have told ESPN.com. It is believed the deal is worth around $1 million.

Ibanez, 39, is expected to see the bulk of his action at DH against right-handed pitchers this season. He could also see time as the team’s fourth outfielder, however his defensive ability has seen a strong decline in recent years.
