New Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine bans beer in clubhouse

Boston Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine announced Sunday that he has banned beer in the team's clubhouse, according to ESPNBoston.com.

Valentine alerted the team Saturday morning during a meeting.

"It's just what I've always done, except in Texas, I guess," Valentine said, according to the report. "I'm comfortable with it that way."
