Jason Kidd Fined $25,000 For Comments About Officials

Dallas Mavericks point guard Jason Kidd has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for his recent criticism of NBA officials, according to NBC Sports.

“We don’t get the benefit of the whistle,” Kidd said yesterday. “I don’t think we’re looked upon as champions, but that’s a whole other story. Dirk (Nowitzki) should live at the line if they would call it the way it’s supposed to be. But, he doesn't.”

The reigning NBA champions are 23-17 this season, which currently ranks them sixth overall in the Western Conference, and third overall in the Southwest Division. They have lost six of their past 10 games.
