Matt Bush And Brandon Guyer Sued For $5 Million Apiece

Tampa Bay Rays minor-league pitcher Matt Bush and outfielder Brandon Guyer are being sued for $5 million each by the family of the victim in a hit-and-run case that resulted in DUI charges against the players, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

The civil suit is expected to be officially recorded today as the Trufano family is seeking more than $5 million for each player.

On March 22, Bush, who reportedly had a blood alcohol percentage of .180, was driving Guyer’s truck when he hit the 72-year old Tony Trufano. The players then allegedly fled the scene.
