Johnny Damon Signs With The Indians

The Cleveland Indians have signed veteran outfielder Johnny Damon in order to add another offensive weapon, according to ESPN.

Although the deal has been finalized, terms of the deal have not yet been released. Damon, 38, was not able to sign on with a team prior to spring training after a solid performance with the Tampa Bay Rays last year.

Damon hit .261 with 16 homeruns and 73 RBIs in 150 games with the Rays in 2012. This deal marks the fourth team that Damon has played on in four years.
