The Atlanta Braves demoted starting pitcher Jair Jurrjens to Triple-A Gwinnett Monday night, according to the Associated Press.

Jurrjens, 26, was an All-Star for the Braves in 2011. In 23 starts the right-handed posted a 13-6 record with a 2.96 ERA. This season, through four starts, he is 0-2 and is leading the National League in earned runs allowed with 17, and home runs allowed with five.
