Browns team president on QB Brandon Weeden: "He's gifted, mature"

More bad news for the quarterbacks in Cleveland Browns camp fighting for a starting position. Browns team president Mike Holmgren threw a heap of praise toward rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden on Thursday, which essentially means it is his job to lose.

"He's as prepared to come in and start as any rookie I've seen in a long time," Holmgren said.  "He is gifted. There is a maturity level because of his age. He is a different rookie because of that."
