Orioles-Angels game delayed by swarm of bees

The first pitch of the Orioles-Angels game Thursday night was briefly delayed when bees swarmed a Fox Sports West camera behind home plate, reports Fox Sports West's Jose Mota.

The game began after the Angels Stadium ground crew was able to remove the swarm. It's not the first time bees have interfered with a baseball game. In March, 2012, a swarm of bees delayed a Diamondbacks-Giants spring training game.

The Angels may have wished the bees never left. They lost to the Orioles, 5-1, despite Joe Blanton giving up just two earned runs in eight innings.
