Tennessee senior defensive lineman Maurice Couch, who was implicated in Yahoo! Sports' article regarding five SEC players who allegedly received improper benefits, will not travel with the team and will miss Saturday's game against Oregon due to heat exhaustion, multiple media outlets report.

Couch is the only played named in the Yahoo! Sports report that still has eligibility left in college.

Former Alabama offensive tackle D.J. Fluker, former Tennessee quarterback Tyler Bray, former Mississippi State defensive tackle Fletcher Cox and former Mississippi State wide receiver Chad Bumphis were the other players mentioned in the report, which alleged they receiver illegal benefits from a middleman between the players and agents while they were in school.

Couch has recorded four tackles, two going for a loss (including one sack) in two games this season.
