Louisville coach Rick Pitino said guard Kevin Ware is still about two weeks from making his season debut after noticing that Ware has been noticeably limping in practice.

Ware is still recovering from a broken leg suffered in the Elite Eight victory against Duke last March.

Ware did not play in their season-opening 70-48 victory against the College of Charleston on Saturday. He did play about 10 minutes in the exhibition finale against Pikeville on Wednesday, scoring six points.

The third-ranked Cardinals also played Saturday without forward Chane Behanan, who is suspended and forward Luke Hancock, still recovering from an Achilles injury.

"He's still limping a little bit," Pitino said Saturday, via CBSSports.com's Matt Norlander.  "And it's noticeable, and when he gets over that he's going to play. He's probably only about two weeks away from playing, but I notice in practice a little bit he's limping. That means, psychologically, he's favoring it a little bit. He doesn't notice it at all. But I don't want to put him in this type of game. The Pikeville (exhibition) situation was just, 'Get out there, get loose.' But he is playing full-blown in practice, but I still notice a limp so I don't want to play him until he's over that. It'll be pretty soon."
