The Browns matched the Jacksonville Jaguars' five-year, $42 million offer sheet, so Alex Mack is staying in Cleveland. Mack said Saturday that he has no issue sticking with the Browns.

He's played his first five seasons with the Browns, and the team was quick to match the Jaguars' offer. From Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer:

“I’m excited. I’m fired up,” Mack said. “There’s no bad blood. Now that it’s done, I’m happy.”

Mack also told the paper  that he was happy to stay in Cleveland and he never said he wanted to move on to another team. From the report:

“I don’t believe I ever said that,” Mack said. “Seeing the options and trying to test free agency and see what else was out there was something that we wanted to do and we had a small opportunity to kind of get a little bit of that.”
