VIDEO: Lightning goal disallowed after controversial interference call

The Tampa Bay Lightning appeared to take what would have been a momentum-shifting lead Sunday night in the second period of their contest against the Montreal Canadiens. But Ryan Callahan's apparent goal was waived off by the referees after a goaltender interference call.

Montreal went on to score the next two goals and won Game 3 of the teams' best-of-seven first-round series, 3-2. With the win, the Canadiens took a commanding 3-0 lead in the series.

The controversial sequence began amid a wild scramble in front of the Montreal net occupied by goaltender Carey Price. Play continued after Alex Killorn flipped over Price and into the net, but when Callahan was finally able to put the puck in the net, the referees immediately disallowed the goal.

The Lightning didn't like the call.
