Yasiel Puig was checked out by Los Angeles Dodgers trainers today after crashing into the outfield wall while attempting to catch a walk-off double hit by Jeff Baker of the Miami Marlins, according to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports.

Puig did pass a concussion test but CBS Sports reports manager Don Mattingly told reporters that he was day-to-day after he "pointed to multiple areas (that hurt)," when talking to the medical staff.

The second-year outfielder is hitting .309/.397/.500 for the Dodgers this season. He missed three starts in April after straining his thumb while sliding headfirst.
