The Big Ten championships in college wrestling feature some of the best teams and individuals on the mat today.

With the NCAA Tournament right around the corner for college wrestling, one of the most talented conferences in the country showcases its best on the mat today. The Big Ten Championship matches in college wrestling are all set with 10 matches on the schedule, one for each weight class. There are five matches on the schedule between the top two wrestlers in their weight class with a seventh seed and a sixth seed also in the mix to be crowned champions in the Big Ten Conference. This will be a massive showcase day with eight top seeds and six second seeds in action.

The only match on the schedule today that does not feature a top two or higher-seeded wrestler is in the 125-pound weight class between sixth-seeded Braeden Davis (Penn State) vs. fourth-seeded Patrick McKee (Minnesota).

On the schedule today are five matches between the top two seeds in the weight class. Top-seeded Dylan Ragusin (Michigan) takes on second-seeded Dylan Shawver (Rutgers) in 133 pounds and top-seeded Beau Barlett (Penn State) is challenged by second-seeded Jesse Mendez (Ohio State) in 141 pounds.

The rest of the schedule features top-seeded Ridge Lovett (Nebraska) vs. second-seeded Austin Gomez (Michigan) in 149 pounds, top-seeded Dean Hamiti (Wisconsin) vs. second-seeded Mitchell Mesenbrink (Penn State) in 165 pounds and top-seeded Greg Kerkvliet (Penn State) vs. second-seeded Nick Feldman (Ohio State) in 285 pounds to round out a massive day of action on the mat in the Big Ten Championship.
