Another Wimbledon is in the books and SI's Jon Wertheim has 50 parting thoughts, including why his men's singles championship is the most important title of Novak Djokovic's career and how ladies runner-up Eugenie Bouchard is turning into "the female Djokovic." As always, there was as much to see off the court as on. Or if you're not into tennis and just want to look at famous people, the gallery above is perfect for you.
DeAngelo Williams Gives Up First-Class Seat For A Soldier
In a trend I hope continues among people with enough money to buy first-class airplane tickets, DeAngelo Williams gave up his expensive seat so that a Marine sitting in coach could use it. Just last week, Amy Adams made headlines for giving up her first-class seat on a flight from Detroit to Los Angeles. Some people in the comments section of Williams' Facebook post, however, think that the Panthers' running back was duped and that the man wasn't in the Marines. Nevertheless, it was a great gesture from Williams.
How Fast Can RG3 Throw A Baseball?
The Redskins' quarterback was interviewed during Saturday's game between the Nationals and the Cubs and was asked how fast he could throw a baseball. He responded, "I think with a few weeks of work, in preparation for that, I think I can throw 90." For comparison, Seahawks QB Russell Wilson threw a 98 mph first pitch (or so we've been told) before a Mariners-Yankees game last year while the 49ers' Colin Kaepernick hit 87.

I will send a hat (you can choose your team) to the first 10 people who can tell me (andy_gray@simail.com) who Ringo Starr was punching in the Vault photo of this morning's Hot Clicks. Please make sure that the subject line of your email reads, "New Era."

American Gladiators To Make (Another) Comeback
The popular show, which aired from 1989 to ’96, is being remade and "will incorporate elements inspired by the popularity of both The Hunger Games and mixed martial arts."American Gladiators has already been brought back once before -- on NBC in 2008 -- but current executive producer Arthur Smith dismisses that this is any sort of problem, saying, "What we're planning is a much bigger different [sic] from the original, and much different from the NBC show."

I can't say enough good things about brothers Justin and Jordan Koczrowski, who turned their driveway in Levittown, Pa., into a scale model of the Eagles' home turf at Lincoln Financial Field.
